Yesterday we took Allyson to the Utah State Fair. It was a really fun day (minus having to pay $10 for parking). They had a really cute exhibit where kids could go through and pretend to be farmers. Allyson went through and she picked fruits and vegetables, rode a tractor, brushed a lamb, milked a cow, fed a cow, etc. At the end of doing all of that she went to the fake market to "sell" the things she collected in her basket (really they just organize everything into all the little bins they belong in) and then the workers there gave her fake money which she paid to the the cashier at the end of the exhibit and they gave her a bag of cookies. She loved it!! Kudos to whoever was clever enough to come up with that exhibit cause it was so stinking cute!
They had a giant slide that David rode on with her. I was afraid she would be too scared to go down once she got to the top, but David said she kept wanting to go down by herself! Of course that wasn't aloud, so she finally gave in to sitting on Daddy's lap.
They had tons of animals there that you could look at and pet. Allyson's favorite were the goats. If we hadn't pulled her away she might still be there petting them right now. We all had a really great time.

What a fun fair! That bull must have been super tame. Love the John Deere trikes, Hubbards have one of those too, LOL.
The picture where David and Allyson are looking through the cut outs, I can see a resemblance between her and Emily.
Cute pics! Looks like fun!
